Rebecca Townsend

Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in 1999.  Since that time, she has amassed significant experience in her field of expertise. 

Rebecca specialises in Employment law.  She runs both simple and complex claims through the Employment Tribunals, including Appeals.  She also works with organisations who need to restructure, and loves to help businesses work through any and all staffing problems.

Ian Townsend

Partner

Having qualified in 2000, Ian has extensive experience in corporate transactions, including Management buy-ins and buy- outs, share sales, asset sales, joint ventures as well as corporate restructuring.

He advises on commercial agreements including service level agreements, framework agreements, consultancy agreements and agency agreements.  He also draws on his commercial knowledge and experience in advising and representing client in commercial disputes.

Ian has a special interest in Franchising, advising both franchises and franchisors in business structures, franchise agreements and exit negotiations. 

Ian is also the Chief Operating Officer at the Quality Franchise Association.  He sits on the Board of Directors and works alongside the CEO to develop and promote the members of the Association.
